Displaying items after save...

Hi,

I have an issue in selectively showing items in nested containers. I need to show or hide items inside the inner container based on a value chosen in a radio button which is also in the inner container.when a saved DCR is opened,
the value chosen in the radiobutton at the time of saving and its corresponding items gets displayed, but if i select the other radiobutton its corresponding items are not displayed.Is there any solution for this?

Please state your TS and OS versions.
You have to check your code for this, try using alert message for debugging.
Does the hide/unhide functionality works fine while saving a new dcr ?

Ya.The hide/unhide functionality works fine while saving a new dcr.Only after saving it and reopening problem occurs. My TS version is 6.7.1 and OS is Windows XP professional 2002.
I ve posted the code along with this.

Unless I miss something here you basically call "typeHandler" function on some radio button "onItemChange" Event and
couple "OnReplicantAdded" Events. None of that happens onFormInit so your Form opens unmodified.

If I were you, I would conditionally call "typeHandler" directly from init. If you go this way make sure that
you cover New Form Case with only one replicant and that you provide correct IWItem as a parameter

Hi,

I tried calling the typeHandler function inside the init function. But the problem is, after opening the saved DCR all items are getting displayed irrespective of the option selected in the radio button. But once i toggle between the options, it works fine. Could you suggest me how to proceed.

I already have. On it's own FormAPI has no way of knowing that Radio button value means anything special.

You should make desired Form modifications within init Function, either by reusing typeHandler or with some dedicated code.
If you have problems doing so, post your code and describe what the problem manifestation is
