There are ways to do this - You might check with your Interwoven Consulting representative about (what I believe is called) the Workflow Plus Pack - alternatively, you can try to roll your own using Perl modules such as TeamSite::WFsystem, TeamSite::WFworkflow, TeamSite::WFtask, etc. and/or parsing the output of the CLT iwgetwfobj.
I realize that this isn't instant-gratification kind of help - but it is possible....

What the **** is the Workflow Plus Pack? And how are people expected to find out about things like this? That's my biggest pet peeve about Interwoven - the lack of documentation. My coworker somehow got hold of the class notes they handed out at an old Advanced Workflow Developer class and the class notes were so much better than any of the standard documentation. Why they don't put this kind of detail in the standard docs - or make the advanced docs available - is beyond me. OK, rant is over.

I just read the white paper that's on the main support site that talks about this PlusPak thing. Sounds like a great tool, but why is it so complicated that Interwoven Consulants need to come out and integrate it with my workflows? Does that imply that every time I create new workflows and want to use the tool, I have to bring the consultants back? What's so complicated about it that it's that hard to integrate? And why hasn't it become a part of the product itself? I don't buy the explanation in the white paper. I like the tool, but I don't like that it hasn't been built into TeamSite itself. Doesn't make sense that it should be an add-on.
