Summarizer

Used a summarizer to generate a summary. The summary generated by MetaTagger 4.1.1 looks something like this:

"noauthortesting authorhere The MetaTagger platform intelligently and automatically applies metadata to all enterprise content ensuring that key enterprise applications deliver relevant content to customers, employees, and partners."

As you can see from the first word, it took 3 words (no, author, testing) from three diffferent fields and made it into one word (noauthortesting). How can I resolve this issue.

The input file is a custom XML format. The default transconverter tries, but does not have enough information on how to break different elements in the input to sentence and paragraph spans.

I would recommend checking out the webcast and sample code from the "Cooking with MetaTagger Plug-ins" Webcast. It includes sample code for: a custom transconverter that lets you use XSLT to convert your XML input to a more easily analyzed cracked-text file. It also includes a pre-processor that removes short paragraphs from the cracked-text and post-processor that separates generic summaries into multiple values by sentence.
