Schedule Deployment through Workflow Modeler

Hii friends,

I want the schedule deployment of a file or the list of files to the web server at a specified time selected by author through workflow modeler..

If any one have worked on such scenario . then could you please let me know the approach you have followed for the same.

It shouldn't make that much difference whether you do it through a WFT or a WFM - you need to collect the schedule time (either during job instantiation or a cgitask) and then either use a dummytask with that value or an externaltask, or urltask that waits until that time before performing the deployment.

this will vary in complexity based on what type of files you are trying to deploy.

Depending on the above, and as Adam stated, you can go the TS route.

The other option would be the schedule your deployment on OD using the schedule OD CLT from an external task. Refer the clts for reference.
