Error: Failed to instantiate a workflow model

"Failed to instantiate a workflow model. Click details for more information,
or contact your system administrator."

I am receiving this error when I try to run a workflow within TS that has been created using the workflow modeler. I cannot find information about this error anywhere in any workflow manuals. I realize there is a bug in workflow modeller for external tasks that will cause this error, but I'm not using external tasks at the moment.

Does anyone happen to know what this error might mean or how to fix it?

the error maybe caused due to many reasons.. Do you see any java errors when you click details below this error message? Paste those to the post...

Do you get any additional information when you "Click details"?
Did you look through the logs in local/logs/ and local/logs/iwui/ to see if there's anything there that might shed some light on it?

Your description is a bit on the vague side since we cannot see your workflow model - so you're going to have to do a bit more investigation on your own.
