Submit specific files to workflow

Does anyone know of a way (without using submit.cfg) to limit a user to submitting only .exe files through a specific workflow?

Can the tag in available_models.xml be changed to do this?

Better use a external task which filters out 'to be submitted' files and submit all by executing iwsubmit.

submit.cfg file could not put filter to the attached files.
