Urgent! In need of a Teamsite 6.0 Manual

To my webbie peers:

I just started a web developer position for a major corporation utilizing Interwoven Teamsite 6.0 to maintain the daily operations of their websites.

1) I came into the position without a in depth training manual and no user documentation in place.

2) I work alongside another developer and we're both spending an alotted amount of time troubleshooting thru Teamsite technical and application issues and that is taking focus away from the daily tasks we're not able to complete 100%.

All companies utilize their Teamsite differently and we are looking for a indepth training manual from template building to troubleshooting.

Can anyone direct me to this information that is free.

Note: The previous employees in the positions didn't leave any user documentation and kept the information basically "in their minds", as have our colleagues in our headquarters office overseas who are tired of explaining and training new employees due to high turnover in the positions.

There is nothing free guys. If your company has a legal Teamsite licenses, one mail or call to support will help a lot. No "big company" will loose track of such an expensive software. So please contact Interwoven support for all your needs.

You will have to do following..

1. Contact IWOV support for all IWOV provided docs.
2. Hire a TS expert who will help you to prepare best practices for your organization.

The information is not available for free. As you have mentioned
that your organization is utilizing Interwoven Teamsite 6.0, then you should be having a support login through which you can download the manuals.

I guess you will have to contact Your TeamSite Administrator or relevent people to download the manual

One thing that I have seen successfully implemented it to bring an expert in for a couple weeks to do a complete system check and from there write up a report on what works, what doesn't, where potential issues are. That can be a good guide to decide where to invest some resources into improving the system.
