Suggestions for archiving the "real" site?

Thought I'd fish around for any suggestions/recommendations for the following client request:

Their law team wants a navigatable, searchable, as-it-appeared-on-the-production-site daily backup copy of their web site.

The trick is, their TS implementation only manages raw XML content...the presentation is produced at runtime on their web servers, and it's the presentation that the lawyers want screen scraped & captured on a daily basis (i.e. just saving the DCRs ain't good enough). To make matters worse, there may be some flash involved.

Finally, they're looking for 3rd party/outsourced solutions first...kind of like if you could pay for www.archive.org to screen scrape your site on a daily basis and burn them to CD for you.

Anyone out there ever done anything like that before?

Your customer has way too much money and too much time on their hands.

You can look at a spider app that will download everything from the site and push it to an archive. I would love to be the sales critter that sells the disk drives to your client.

You could also write some PTs and build a static copy of the site and sump it somewhere. I do not know how often the data will change, but that might not be too hard.
