For some reason the preview for certain branch does not work.
Any idea? Please avise. thanks.

Check if "angels" have permissions or belong to shared group to write in "common" workarea.

Apart from 403 Forbidden error what does the error message have.
Are you getting 403 for all the branches or specific ones.
Is it for only one user or for all users

And how about this ... does it occur for all the users or only you.

If it occurs for all the users and for all the branches what was the change in your environment which is causing this error. check if there were any changes at your preview server end.

just trying to filter out the causes.

What OS are you using? What "customer web server" are you using?
If you're on Windows using IIS - have you verified that the TSIMP_hostname account is set up correctly and that the Directory Security within IIS has been set up correctly to use it?
Alternatively - use the IUSR_hostname account for the anonymous access instead of the TSIMP_hostname account - I've been involved with two implementations in which I had to make that change.

Setting up a new box in Linux environment.
Right now we have only one active user id (admin) on this box.

it seems you are previewing a generated page.. Does the normal preview of any other page works..
IS this template you are trying to preview previewable in any other branch.. Do you have any role \ group restrictions on the template in templating.cfg?

If you meant about the xml preview, it works. Only rendering of the page with tpl fails.
Its the same error for all branches. We have editor role for users, but there is a group-branch mapping. (since the error occurs on all branches, the branch specific permission issue is ruled out)

This is just my idea. Check your iw.cfg and make sure if you have specified your branches in the iw_proxy plugin remap.
