Hi All,

I have a requirement to disable the 'View->Modified Files' menu item for users viewing a particular branch. I have had a look in the GUI customisation guide and as far as I can tell the only approach is to 'delete' the 'modified files' menu item (globally for all users/branches) and replace with a custom implementation that calls an ipl, decides if the branch is valid then either displays a 'not allowed' message or displays the normal modified list.

This sounds a bit hacky, anybody know of a better solution?

Unfortunately, I do not believe that there is a less "hacky" way to do it right now. This might change in the future (e.g.: TS7.0[+]) - but for right now - you've pretty much nailed it.
