Problem creating new site with TS6.7.1/LS3.0

Hello,

Using TS 6.7.1 patch 3 and LiveSite 3.0 SP1 on Solaris 10, i have the following problem: i can't create a new site.

On a brand spanking new install:

Using content center pro, i log in (tried as both root user and as a user i created to test this), create a workarea, and then select "new site" from the file menu. System pops up the "New site" wizard for me to enter site name, ip address, etc. In the second step of this wizard ("Page Details"), the drop downs for Page type and Layout type are empty (i was assuming i would choose HTML, XHTML, etc here). When i click the "OK" button the system tells me that "An error occurred while creating your site. Contact your system administrator for details."

As far as i can tell, the creation of the site is failing because the system expects me to choose a page type and layout type, but i can't do that because the drop downs are empty.

My bad: error was because i was using FireFox instead of IE. If i use IE i get the dropdowns of page types and layout types, and i can create a new site.
