Y: not visible

We have an older Production Teamsite box running 5.5.2 ( Smiley Sad

:mad: ) version on Windows 2000 server. Till today afternoon, I was able to view the IFS mounted Y:. Since then, not sure whether it was the reboot or any other thing. But here is the summary of the events at this point:-

1. Y: is not showing up in Windows.
2. Y: was shared through windows and I can open the share and do my stuff.
3. Y: shows up in logical drives column under "computer management-->storage".
4. Opendeploy services, apache webserver are able to view the y: and are able to deploy the content on other production boxes.

I am not expertise at Teamsite and would appreciate if someone could point me to the correct direction.

Went through couple of articles and found out that the Teamsite service has startup user as local system, hence the AD part could be ignored.

I seem to recall from many years past - that Windows Explorer had a View option that might prevent the virtual drive (Y Smiley Happy

from displaying even if it were actually present. That was probably back in Windows NT days - but you might poke around the View options in Windows Explorer to see if you can find anything that might do the trick.

Hi Rahul, is your issue resolved if so can you let everyone here know how did you get it done so that if anyone happens to run into this issue we have some approach to try before we really post our query.
