Unfortunately I tried that as well, a full mix of encode, decode, etc. I can manage to get SOME funky characters, but not the ones that are actually in the string.for example: Héllo! gets set as Héllo!Not so nice
Unfortunately it's TeamSites CCSTD interface that is controlling which hcarset the html is out in (since I'm display Task variables in the task list column), and as I say if I add it through the cssdk it works fine
I've tried all sorts of variations ofuse utf8;use open ':utf8';binmode (STDOUT, ':utf8');binmode (STDIN, ':utf8');binmode (STDERR, ':utf8');But none seem to have any impact at all
