Customizing the default size of task pane

TS 6.7.1 - Solaris 10

I know it's possible to change buttons, screen and colours throughout the TeamSite UI but I'm wondering (haven't found it in the documentation but maybe I missed it) if it's possible to change the default position of the pane separator within the "Workflow/Task" pane.

By default, it splits the screen in half but my client would like to have the task details pane show up on 70% of the screen by default (low number of workflows, easier to navigate to workflow submit buttons).

Any clues or pointers?

Can't you drag the split bar towards top?
I dont think there is any other way.Might be possible by changing something somewhere deep inside the implementation.

Yes you are right - the split bar can be dragged towards the top but the client is curious to see if it can be set higher by default.

As of today, they drag it up every single time they open the task pane under the workflow and are wondering if it can be set at higher default level. I suspect that it can be changed if I go deep, deep into the screen code but I'm not one for hacks as they have a way of breaking when updates are done (past experiences) Smiley Wink

Anyone ever run into this request?

I suggest you contact IWOV Support and enquire of them - and probably open a Feature Request for this (it sounds like it might be the kind of thing IWOV is looking to do for 7.x ...)

Thanks for the input Ghoti/motlnt - off to chat with Support. I'm hoping for a massively improved UI in TS 7.0. User preferences would be a nice add-on as well to help customize their UI / navigation.
