Eclipse 3.3 Linked Resources over Samba

Hi All,

I'm seeing some strange behaviour which I don't know is TeamSite related but it might be. We have two TS servers (Dev & Prod) and iwmain for each is mapped to my V(Dev) Z(Prod) drives in Windows via the Samba share. Using Eclipse 3.3 I've created two seperate projects (tsDev & tsProd) in each of these projects I have used the 'Linked Resource' feature to link to the same specific Workarea.

So I end up with a mapping to:
Dev V:\www\MyBranch/WORKAREA/MyWorkarea
Prod Z:\www\MyBranch/WORKAREA/MyWorkarea
in both my Dev & Prod projects.

The problem is that when I open the same resource from both tsDev & tsProd and switch between the two I **sometimes** get "Resouce **** is out of sync" dialog box. It seems that Eclipse has trouble recognising that the two files are distinct dispite being in seperate projects, just having similar paths. However other times it works just fine.


I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this or can replicate it as its only ever happened when doing this with a TeamSite Samba share, other shares to our SAN don't seem to suffer the same problem or from local folders.
