Cross-Posting and SPAM

In many of the IUG forums, there's postings about jobs. Often postings that are in several other forums. I haven't gone around checking to see how many forums the same post was listed in, but it looks like about 8. I have reported the cross-posting/SPAM, but no action has been taken to remove it. Has Interwoven given up on keeping control of these forums?

I do agree with you. Cross Posting / Post SPAM should be removed. Members who are doing this should also get a warning for this.

Cross Posting doesn’t look good to the forum and it also reduces the interest of other members as the forum becomes clumsy.

I hope IWOV guys will look into this seriously.

It's part of my function to keep this from happening. With due respect to Jason, I don't recall seeing his report of misuse.

When it does happen, I have to request for the thread to be removed (something I can't do directly) and I also send a note to the offender who usually doesn't realize that they have behaved inappropriately.

I used the Bad-Post link on the posting. I also reported it to Heather and she said it would be removed, but 1 month later, it was still there. I see that it has now been removed and appreciate you taking care of it.
