Compatibility issue.

Hi

I want to deploy from Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition (OD Version 6.0.0.0.0 Build 36714 Interwoven 20040622) to Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2 (OD Version 6.0.0.0.0 Build 36714 Interwoven 20040622) , this is where my websphere is.

Should I proceed with that?
Any suggestions...

Where (which environment) your TeamSite is residing?
Which (which environment) is the source server?
Which (which environment) is the target server?

Did you get your Receiver software installed on an Windows XP box? Is it even possible /compatable. I do not thing so. Please check support for the same.

While Windows XP is not (as far as I can tell) an officially supported platform - OD tends to be more flexible in its installation platforms than TS because it (OD) doesn't require kernel mods - so it might work. You might need to be prepared to change the OS on your receiver side to one that is officially supported through.

"expect" - probably not - but you should be cautious whenever any aspect of the environment changes (the OS and/or the product version(s)) - to make sure that things continue to work.
