Folder access issue

Hi,

I am using Teamsite 6.1 on Windows 2000. I am facing a strange problem related to folder access.

In the user's workarea, I have given group access to a folder. I have added the user of this workarea to the group and the group has full access to the folder. Still this user does not get access to the folder. Also I could see the group added to the folder whenever I view the properties of the folder through Content center or file system (Y Smiley Happy

Instead of using groups, when I add the user directly and give full permission, the user gets access to the folder. But again when the user does get latest, all the permission is refreshed.

Would be really thankfull if anybody who have faced a simillar problem can help me out.
