Preview

Hi,

We have a unique problem.. When I create a new dcr I am able to preview and submit to workflow.. However if I edit a dcr I am not able to preview and If I submit by selecting finish button we are getting null pointer exception thrown by TeamSite before workflow starts. Is there a config problem ?

Could you please attach your DCT along with the associated scripts? Also please provide the working env as OS, TS version etc.

The version of TeamSite is 6.7.1 and OS is windows 2003.

Are you using special chars in your DCR name is some way(autonaming or manual naming) ..?

I am not getting any error messages for preview however If I press finish button without editng a dcr, I immediatly get this null pointer exception before the workflow page

I feel, you get this error when you use special characters in your DCR Name. Did you check on that?

If this is the case, did you try editing the same DCR which you have created an pushed out earlier? See if that goes through fine, then it is problem with your DCR data else problem lies in your config file.

I do not have special characters in dcrs. I've added some debug statements to see if presentation template has some problmes.. the tpl is not invoked at all. It fails some where in between.

I am also getting this error in servletd_out.log file and
