Property Boundles and TPLs

Has anyone used a Property Boundle or Resource File in a TPL?

A Global Deployment of Teamsite requires that the content within a TPL be translated. Instead of having different TPLs for each language (we are about to have 30 languages in TS) we want to have a resource boundle from which to pick up the translated pieces for the TPLs.

I was just wondering how any of you have handle similar situations since I tought this would be an interesting thread.
