Hi All,

I have updated one DCT which is in use from long.
How can i update my DCRs accordingly?

One solution is to open the DCR and update that manually but looking not
feasilble for around 100s files.

Second solution which is in my mind is use perl script.

Is any command there which can change all the DCR according to DCT?

Better option is to use the script & perl modules dcrNode to extract and add your contents and then create new xml files.

What is the nature of the change?
Is it a new field, a new container with new fields, or a change to the existing structure such that existing fields will have a new xpath address?

If it's the latter - you need to modify all pre-existing DCRs, PTs, and potentially FormAPI code.

If it's not the latter - you still need to update pre-existing PTs and potentially FormAPI code - but the DCRs will pick up the change automatically when they next get edited (unless you cannot wait for that - in which case you need to modify all pre-existing DCRs too.

For modifying pre-existing DCRs - a script is best - whether you use XML processing or regex processing is up to you and the nature of the change.
