Pdfs with worksite links

Hi all, I'm having problems with a pdf document which has inside links to other worksite documents.

I don't know the reason but, it sometimas return this message:

Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. (Message unavailable)

The links to the documents has been created using view as html and copying the url. Also tried to use redirector.aspx?nrtid...

Has anybody see this message before? Maybe is it related with session?

Only adding that the users see the pdf clicking a link (viedoc.aspx...), Maybe acrobat reader cannot open worksite links within the document?

Hi javi,

I need you to give me some more info.

1. What version of WorkSite Web are you running?
2. I need a more detailed error message. You can either turn on WorkSite diagnostic logging or turn off custom errors. By performing either of these actions, you should hopefully be able to get a more detailed error message. Once you get the error message, post it here so that I can review it.

To turn on diagnostic logging:
1. Open the WorkSite web.config file (located in the WorkSite Web root directory) in an xml editor.
2. Search for "WorksiteListener". This is the configuration node that handles the error logging.
3. Uncomment the section. There are instructions in the web.config that explain this.
4. Set the "initializeData" attribute to a path on the web server where you want the log file to be created.
5. Save web.config and try to reproduce the error. You should have a log with the error.


To turn off custom errors:
1. Open the WorkSite web.config file.
2. Search for "customErrors".
3. Change the mode attribute to "Off" (capital "O", as this is case-sensitive).
4. Save the file and try to reproduce the error. The generic .NET error UI will appear in your browser with the detailed call stack information.
