cssdk 3.1 + java 1.4

jed

Anyone know of workarounds or other elegant solutions for getting cssdk 3.1 to work on a java 1.4 app?

Background...
We have a legacy cssdk app that only works with java 1.4. With an upgrade to TeamSite 6.7.1, cssdk requires java 1.5 or greater. The app cannot load using the latest cssdk libraries due to a class version mismatch. Since the app will be going away soon, we do not want to spend the money to get it working with java 1.5. However, we need some sort of solution so we can upgrade to TeamSite 6.7.1.

Thanks for any help!

What exactly makes up this application (Jsps, servlets, jars, etc.)? Is this something bundled with content center, or are you using it remotely on another application server?

It is a completely separate standalone application w/ sevlets/jsps/jars/etc that runs under a really really old application server that does not support java 1.5. The legacy app is about as ugly as TeamSite iteself. {shudder}
