Trustee/Group versus Facility/Workspace/Folder Management - WSMP4.1

System

Our WSMP installation started modestly but has grown considerably in the past year. Until now it has been fine to manually manage access rights, users coming and going, and so on. I am at the point of needing something more automated, though. I am looking for basic information: What users/groups have what permissions on what workspaces/folders? What users are members of what groups? (I can see this latter information easily enough in the Library Manager, but how can it be extracted for a report? Can I work with this through utilities other than Library Manager--a script that I might use to change group memberships in batch?)

I haven't really dug into what WSMP may have available in this regard, or how this information is stored internally if I need to extract it to process it.

How are others managing this? Do you have pointers about facilities I should be using?

I would consider myself an advanced beginner as a WSMP admin. I manage this very part time. I do have a long history of programming/scripting, so I wouldn't be averse to getting my hands dirty if it shows promise.

All the informations are stored in the DB Tables. You can make a query out of them. Also WSMP Support will have some standard queries available with them.
