TS 6.5 sp2 on Windows.

I want the best solution.

I have a Sub Branch "HR" under a main Branch called "Dept" (Short for Department). I have a group called "Dept_HR" who access the sub-branch "HR". Now there is a new requirement to create a setup for new group "HR-Payroll" with their own DCT's and Workflow of their own. They do not want to inherit any of those from their parent "HR".

What would be an idle set up for this cenario?

my set up will be very novice.....!

Like , i would create a different workarea under HR and name it "HR_Payroll"
and develop DCT's and Workflow accordingly.

Or i would create a subbranch called "HR_Payroll" and then create the same.( I guess in this case, nothing will be inherited from parent).

or i can just manage creating additional folder in the same HR workarea which will store the html generated in a seperate folder only "HR_Payroll" group can access. (This is a bad Idea i guess).

Please suggest me the correct and good way?

I would do sub - branching when the publishing cyles are far apart and the content in question is not a common content i.e. which both the groups want to work collaboratively on. You may like to consider other factors though.
