Need help creating NRL files

Hello!

I'm trying to find information on how to create NRL files, but so far haven't come up with anything conclusive? Does anyone know of a document that explains all the options out there?

Specifically, I would like to modify an NRL that I generate from within WorkSite, such as:
DCDESKSITE
!nrtdms:0:!session Smiley Very Happy

CDESKSITE:!database:MNDCiManage:!document:227930,1:

To open the most latest version, instead of version 1, which is explicitly defined there. The only suggestion I have been able to find is to do this:
DCDESKSITE
!nrtdms:0:!session Smiley Very Happy

CDESKSITE:!database:MNDCiManage:!document:227930,1:
[Version]
Latest=Y

But it still opens version 1 - it just seems to ignore the whole "latest" thing. Does anyone know how I can get this to work? I'd really like to be able to open the latest version with an NRL file.

That is indeed the correct format to get the latest version. Likewise, in 8.1 or later, if you were to select "Send Nrl/Url" | "To Latest Version", you should be able to download an Nrl that takes you to the latest version. And when you open this file in notepad, it will reveal that same format.
