Hi all,Don't know if this is a new one or not - had a search of the forums and didn't find anything but doesn't mean it's not there.I've come across a bug in the FormAPI onSave event while trying to implement some validation. Basically from a virgin DCT entering an invalid value and clicking the Save button triggers my onSave event handler. This detects the invalid entry and returns false. The save it aborted. So far, so good.If the invalid value is then replaced with a valid one and the Save button again triggers the validation, it passes and returns true. The DCR is saved., again, as you would expect. If you now re-edit the DCR and set an invalid value clicking the Save button doesn't trigger the behaviour you would expect...1) onSave handler is triggered.2) Invalid content is detected and handler returns false.3) The DCR is saved regardless!A couple of us have looked at the FormAPI and can't see anything wrong but feel free to point anything out!TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 on Win2003.
Perhaps your issue is related to the new "Saving incomplete Forms" feature.Check Attributes of the saved DCR. Does it have "iw_form_valid" extended attribute? What's the value? Please note that this is new in 6.7, it did not exist before.
have you looked at this thread http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=22555&forumid=13i think it talks about similar bug with in 6.7.1 regarding Save and onSave events.
