A bit of a newbie to MB, any guidance appreciated!

1) Is OpenDeploy suited for pushing out MB images to an image farm – or should one use MB’s Deployment Agent?

2) Any integration tools w/ Photoshop v2 or v3 (Mac)? (or other products in the Adobe CS Design Suite).

3) Any out-of-the-box support for photo galleries?

4) Suggested way to extract image data into our custom DB’s? Can be done at the DB layer or need to go via API? Are there events triggered that I can tap into when an image is added or do I need to implement a polling mechanism? (how does Deployment Agent work behind the scenes?)

5) Is there a max images per folder/container? Some of our current photos directories (which will be imported into MB) have 100,000+ photos in them.

6) Best method for bulk import of images – along with the custom meta data that we have stored in a DB? API I assume?

Any whitepapers or other resources for the above would be much appreciated.

MB Deployment Agent. It provides a lot more capabilities such as metadata filtering etc.

Not Photoshop. But InDesign and Quark.

Photo galleries? No?

API...API...API. Search the forum for triggering.

None that I am aware of. But certainly having A LOT of images will affect performance (previewing etc.)
