Hi all,

I need to create a custom metadata called "expiration date" on DCR. I have two requirements around this

1. I need to purge the DCR's that have met their exp. date. How can I implement this in Teamsite?
2. Can I have retention policy around the expired files. say, I need to move the files to low cost storage devices after expiration.

Please let me know if these features are out of teh box or do I need to write custom code ?

There's no any automated process for this. You need to write your own script.

- For purging DCRs, you can write a script which will run on a daily basis. It will identify all DCRs which expired that day and then clean them.
- Again you need a script which will identify these files and then transfer them to a different storage. You may use workflow here.
