What could be causing this problem?

I just uploaded my datacapture.cfg file but the computer has got into a trouble, and i am no longer able to see
any files within the workareas. You know how to fix this?

Maybe you should go through some training courses - or hire someone who knows what they're doing - since it seems somewhat clear from your various posts that you're pretty much lost here.

The forums can only do so much - they're mostly a great place to expand one's knowledge once a reasonable base knowledge exists - they're not intended to take the place of training, and reading the manuals.

Are you getting paid to support TS in your organization?
If so - how did you get the job?

Which version of TS?
Which Environment?
Who created this datacapture.cfg?
Was your TS working before?
Were other DCTs working before?
Are you able to see files in other workareas?
Are you using the same user?
Do you have the sufficient access of TS / Workarea?

As Adam has suggested please go through some initial training. It would help to be efficient in TS.

Think again and confirm, if only uploading of datacapture.cfg can dump your computer into trouble?

Also, provide more inputs like screenshot etc to understand the issue better.
