OffSite and IMANEXTLib.ImportCmd

I am trying to get IMANEXTLib.ImportCmd to work with DeskSite 8.2 when its in Offsite mode.

I keep getting a message

Unable to get role
MobileMode
The Method or operation is not implemented

I thought the import command could be used in mobile mode, anyone any experience of using it or any ideas on what is causing the error.
