TS Admin GUI for Admins?

Has anybody completed / contemplated a customization to allow for Admin users to access and use the TeamSite Admin GUIs in TS 5.0.1? or 5.5.2? what was involved? We want to allow this for "basic" admin functions (adding users, permissions, etc?)

Since there wasn't one reply to this original post (not even a "you're dreaming"), is it safe to assume that we're dreaming in trying to do this?

has anybody even investigated doing this and found out that it isn't feasible? any release greater than 5.0.1 is okay as well in that we'll be on 5.5.2 very soon-

sorry for the resurrection, but we'd really like to do this for a little more scalabilty in the "admin" area-

Haven't tried, don't think there'd be much support for it, doubt it's feasible. Sorry for the pessemistic tone, but it seems like a fruitless approach to me--I'd think setting up some "admin request" workflows, which would use externaltasks to call iwadduser.ipl, etc, would be faster do do and just as--or even more--supportable.
