Non standard charater when using view as html

Hi all

We have a problem with the view as html. We need to use a 'â' (a circumflex if it does not appear on the webpage) as this is required for a Welsh name. It is fine in a word document but when we view it as html it loses the charater. This causes a problem as the name Siân becomes Sin. Any ideas?

Hi Mike,

In what version of WorkSite Web is this happening? We use third party DLLs by Stellent called Outside In to render the documents as html. I can check if this is a bug in the version that you have with your particular WSW installation.

We are using Worksite Web 8.0 at present and using the inbuilt HTML viewer
