Directory Based Deployment
Karam
Hi Guys,
I have a weird situation going on with me.
I use Directory based deployment where the code deploys pdf files from the source to the target.
I am using the default comparison.
However with every new date, it deploys the whole pdf files(about 200) for every 1st deployment, where ideally it should only deploy the new ones.
Strangely, it does not change the time stamp on either the target or the source.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Can't tell anything without seeing the od config file as well as the log files from the receiver (not the sender)
hitc
hard to say without the config but
are you applying security changes when you are depploying?do you try to change group/user ownership? that can be an explanation
"it does not change the time stamp" ... OD always keep the modified date from the source.

OD always keep the modified date from the source.
Not always, it's configurable. One of the transfer rules is "applySourceFileTime". Defualt is "yes".
If this attribute is set to "no", deployed Files timestamp reflects Target System Deployment time
