comments and descriptions in 4.1

I'm wondering if there's a way to display comments or descriptions for the listing of files in a folder in a collaboration space. Currently it just shows Name, Modified Date, Modified By, Version, and Actions. Can a custom tag or something like it be created? In a knowledge space it shows the description...

You should look at Manage workspace->View Sets, where more OOTB properties or custom properties of Documents/Versions/Folders... can be exposed through the UI; for example in normal Folder view show only the name of the documents, current version, but in the document Zoom view show descriptions and show metadata, in the Edit view show descriptions and editable Metadata etc

Hmm, on the left side of the manage page all I see are Properties, Member, Workgroups, Security Policies, Tags, Project Templates, Trash Bin, and History, but nothing about view sets. Am I completely missing it or aren't there view sets in 4.1?

I was also just told that we cannot do that for one workspace, but can only do it for all workspaces, which we do not want to do. Unless you know of another way to do this, I guess I'm all set. Thank you!

mm..Yes I was wrong, the "view sets" are accessed through config.jsp, which is "all or nothing" as you say.
