Directories under data folder while creating DCR's

We need to create different directories based on different departments under data folder while creating DCR's. This will help us in retrieving DCR's later for editing purposes. Do you guys have any suggestions or solutions for this requirement.

Are you asking how you can enforce your directory structure? If so, the only solution I can think of is to use FormAPI. I believe that one of the shipped examples alters the DCR name according to the DCR data input. You could probably very easily adapt that FormAPI code to change the DCR name (directory, really) according to the current user's ID.
