project template help

I would like to be able to create a dynamic project template that populates the email address field for a inbox document folder according to the name of the project. I know we had this implemented in 4.1 but it doesn't seem to work in 5sp1 and I'm not sure how the previous administrator got it set up. Is this something I could do with WOM?
