iwuser -q

Hi,

After adding a OS user; iwuser query action throws an error in the first attempt but shows an entry in the second attempt onwards. Please help me to understand this. Thanks

1. # useradd iwmaster

2. # /app/iw-home/bin/iwuser -q iwmaster
ERROR - could not find entry "iwmaster" in database

3. # /app/iw-home/bin/iwuser -q iwmaster
User iwmaster
Entity ID 33
Aliases:
Unix user ID 1832
Unix user name iwmaster
No related groups.
(No properties)

TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1
SUN Solaris 10

Note: I tried this on TS 6.5 SP2 machine and it just works fine in the first attempt itself.

Try running for some more users and if the problem still persists, i suggest you to open a Iwov Support ticket.

I tried with different users. And I tried iwreset (no flags) still same behavior/issue. The interesting thing is this behavior is different from 6.5.2 to 6.7.1

Even I have given enough time between each step.

Got resolved with the help of iwov support.

For some reason iwhome/local/entities folder owner was root:root changing that to iwts:iwts resolved the issue.
