cpus per branch

Hi,

We got a sun solaris box with 4 CPUs. TeamSite Installation has 2 branches (means 2 business). We are planning to restrict some or all of the activities on branch1 to CPU1 & CPU2 (similarly branch2 to CPU3 & CPU4). So that both business can coexist on the same box without complaining each other about the performance. Any ideas?

That is not possible, either in Solaris (Jed will correct me if I am wrong) or in TS.

Either way you have so much capacity, that unless you are looking at several hundred users, CPU performance will not be an issue.

You can (and likely should) have mgt buy multiple stores and put the 2 different BUs on different stores and those stores on different disk arrays. That will keep the disk usage separate.
