Migration from Windows Authentication to LDAP

We are working on integrating MediaBin and TeamSite and switching our MediaBin server to use LDAP authentication.

As part of the migration process, will MediaBin recognize DOMAIN\user1 the same as LDAP\user1? In our environment, our active directory and unix ldap servers are based off of a common repository, such that "sAMAccountName" == "uid"?

I would hate to think that we have to update all of the permissions throughout the entire MediaBin repository, but would like someone to confirm that.

I am afraid that MB sees these as two different users. However, we have some off the shelf scripts we use to help migrate security, for example, when people change machines and have used local accounts on the old machine. Support should be able to help hook you up.
