Member of 2 groups but 1 has no permission

Lets say I have 2 groups, group a and group b. (Active Directory, Teamsite group or both)

Group A has full control permissions to directory A
Group B does not have access to directory A

What happens if you have a user in both groups?

then you are not satisfying the criteria of not restricitng that user to access directory A.

He/she will have access to directory A.

Either you have to group people who do not need access to directory A or give permission to that user to A.

The membership in "Group B" is not important in this case - as long as the user is a member of "Group A" they have full control access to "directory A"
