That's an interesting question, as it doesn't appear to be covered in the documentation regarding reverse deployments - so I'm unsure whether the filelist needs to exist on the receiver (reverse-source) side or base (reverse-target) side of the equation.A simple test using identically named files with different contents - should be able to verify which side's filelist is used.The alternative solution is to use the basic dir-diff model and retrieve all the files in the reverse-source's area to the target area.To write the deployment configuration files, and configure the server configuration files - read the manual (that's covered in there)
Filelist reverse Deployment uses the List located on the Receiver (reverse Source) side.
Good to know - did you find that in the manual somewhere? Make an educated guess and have it pan out? or trial-and-error?Just curious, because usually the OD manuals are pretty good
Trial and error. I agree, both OD Product and OD Documentation are very solid. This parrticular detail however has not been spelled out, in any case not in the OD version I used back then
