Migration of website content

Hi all,
We have an existing website which we need to migrate to Teamsite server. The existing website has mainly html pages. I need to migrate all the HTML pages into Teamsite as DCR's. A HTML page could transalte to multiple DCR's if the page has multiple fragments. I also need to migrate any files like PDFs, images etc. and provide the reference in the DCRs.
I'm wondering if there is a way to automate this process of migrating non WCM content into Teamsite. Please share your previous project experience in handling this situation.
Please also let me know if there are any third party tool that could do this.

I am not aware of any third party tool but you can follow the below guidelines:

- Define the number of forms / templates you will require to migrate the content with definite set of fields in each form.
- Develop a logic through external program like java to parse the HTML content fragments to map value with each field and write DCRs (IMO this seems to be failry complex).
- Define presentation template and generate the HTML content in TS once the DCR is written.

For me it would be a complete new project. It requires the design / development / configuration and everything which we need for any fresh project. The only difference is you have content ready and live in some other form.

If pages are not in bulk you can recreate them manually otherwise you can write some script which will parse the files and created them for you.
