Unable to remove LDAP settings
Bill Klish
Windows 2003 EE SP1
MediaBin 4.5.3
On the LDAP tab in enterprise manager, I can't seem to figure out how to remove my ldap settings. I don't see this documented in the manual either.
How can this be accomplished?

LDAP is enabled by a license key value so you cannot turn it off (So u'll now need a new non LDAP reg key ). But setting the server name to blank will signal MB not to perform any LDAP calls .
You should then be able to get the list of AD Domains as they're obtained based on the account used for the MediaBin service, not any LDAP configuration.

Interesting.
I didn't change the license key prior to making this change.
I can't change the server to blank. If I leave it blank and try to click apply changes I get an error stating that the field must be filled in. So, I don't see any way to remove it.

There will always be an LDAP option from the domains list regardless of the LDAP configuration. A connection to an LDAP server will only be attempted by the server if an end user attempts to login with an LDAP account or they try to expand the LDAP domain to see the list of its users.
