Migrate schedule deployment to new OD box.

Is there a way to migrate schedule deployment to a new OD box without recreating the schedule deployment in the Admin gui.

Yes it is possible. Assuming you are using OOTB hsql (hypersonic db) for scheduling. Lets say you have scheduled deployments on machine A and want to migrate to machine B (new OD box)

1) Stop the OD Service on machine A and machine B
2) On machine B take the backup of :
schedDB.data, schedDB.properties, schedDB.script, schedDB.backup, odsched.ext
3) Copy the schedDB.data, schedDB.properties, schedDB.script, schedDB.backup, odsched.ext from machine A (ODHOME/db) to machine B (ODHOME/db)
4) Start the OD Service on machine B

Now you can check by running ./iwodschedget command to verify the scheduled deployments got migrated or not.

If you are using RDBMS DB for sched.deployment then the task is very simple, just point the schedulerproperties of odbase.xml to that database.
