Include File (Revisted)

I am putting this in a separate request as one of Forum member instructed:

Environment

* TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 + Patch 1
* Windows 2003 SP2
* IE-7

Requirement

I have a requirement in which I need to include a file called "miniscore.html"
in my tpl file "cricket.tpl"

Here is the code of DCT of cricket_datacapture.cfg:

miniscore
Select the score include file

[/HTML]

Here is the code of TPL file:

[HTML]
 $strTest = iwpt_dcr_value( 'dcr.cricket_datacapture.miniscore' ); 

[/HTML]

Please let me know the above way of including file in the TPL will work or not.

That will include whatever file you select with the DCR in the file. Since you are allowing the user to select JPG, BMP or JPEG as well as HTML files, the results will be unpredictable.

Also instead of going through the extra lines .. you could use this to acheive same result

What is the actual full value of $strTest?
What is the path to the miniscore.html file - is it located within the same workarea? What is it's location relative to the location of the PT?
Also - you need to put quotes around attribute values:

<iw_include file="$strTest"/>

- you might try fixing that first because it might be the source of your problems.
