dynamically populating drop down with list of teamsite users

Hi

when using Teamsite 6.5, we were able to populate a dropdown say for a approver, dynamically with the list of all users with a certain role. When using workflow builder, a function woudl be generated which would read from the specified role file, say, editors.uid.
How can i implement the same using Workflow Modeler in Teamsite 6.7?

You have to use datasource variables in your workflow model. Using datasource variable you can write your own JAVA classes to retrieve data. You can get more information in the Workflow Modeler User's Guide. It also has a sample datasource for getting TeamSite users.

I am not sure if any of the sample workflows incorporate datasources or not.

There is a sample configuration file for the datasources, but I am not sure there is a workflow model that uses it.

yea there doesn't seem to be a sample workflow which shows how exactly it's implemented..

Interwoven ships an OOTB datasource called userpicker that gets you a list of users. You just need to enable it. It is very easy. Look at the WFM guide datasource chapter.
