using the cached connection

Hi Guys,
I am stumped...anybody has an idea on how to use the cached connection in OD? I believer there is a dtd in ODHOME/dtd/conf/ddcfg.dtd with an attribute cache-db-connection. Also the DataDeploy Administration Guide does not mention database connection caching
Could somebody guide please?
Envi- TS 6.7.1, OD 6.1.1, win2003 server

The cache-db-connection is used whenever we do DD deployments. Please see the below format

database use="oracle-db" update-type="standalone" delete-tracker="yes"
cache-db-connection="no"

i.e. If cache-db-connection="yes" then after the first deployment run to the database, it will make use of cache from the next run. If it is "no" then it will reconnect to the database everytime

If cache-db-connection="yes" then are there any other attribs to be affected? i mean any other settings required or this will just do fine?
