dids table growing to extreme sizes
umerckx
Hi,
We are using MediaBin 4.6, and noticed the database (MS SQL Server) size growing. The data file is almost 7 Gb in size, while, to our understanding, the image data itself is stored in the MBDataDirectory. So it's only some logging and metadata that should be in the database.
Some investigation pointed out that the main amount of space (4.5Gb) is taken by the 'dids' table, which seems to have something to do with a number of Deployment Agent Exports we're doing. For each asset, there are a number of rows in there, each containing an image blob.
My question is: can we clean up this database, and how?
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
