MediaBin button in VFE toolbar? help needed

i thought this was supported OOTB - however its nowhere in the VFE or ecm connector 2 documentation

pretty much in addition to the standard "picture" button in the vfe, would like a button that hits our MediaBin repository. how do accomplish this?
